Paige Mahogany-Parks She/Her
Founder - President
Paige Mahogany Parks is the founder of the Transgender Awareness Project in Jacksonville Florida. Paige has been a transgender activist in the black lgbtq+ community for over 30 years. She has received the Dean Mckeller Award in 2005 for her outstanding work as a transgender activist. She has been featured on NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, Folio Magazine, and more! She lives in Jacksonville Florida where she continues her work as a transgender activist and writer.
Craven Sinclair She/Her
Event Coordinator
Craven is a trans activist who has been working with and organizing for transgender issues over the last two years. She believes in a more accepting future and works diligently to bring us there. Currently, she is assisting as an event coordinator for the Transgender Awareness Project.
Andrea Roberts She/Her
Executive Director
Andrea Roberts is a mental health and wellness coach and certified yoga instructor energetic and enthusiastic professional with academic experience and training in mental health. She is known for being passionate, committed, and dedicated. Andrea has also developed her listening and communication skills. She is here to advocate for and provide emotionally-safe and judgmental-free spaces conducive to elevating your journey through holistic mental health and wellness. She has been working in this field for roughly 30 years and plans to bring that experience to help grow TAP.
Kloey Day She/Her
Outreach Specialist
Kloey Day is a trans activist who has been working with and organizing for transgender issues over the last eight years. Currently, she is an outreach specialist for the Transgender Awareness Project.
Dashielle Blackwell Non-Binary
Community Engagement Director
Dashielle Blackwell is a trans activist who has been working with and organizing for transgender issues over the last thirteen years. Currently, she is an outreach specialist for the Transgender Awareness Project.
Kyle Mitchell He/Him
Multimedia Specialist
Kyle Mitchell is a former CPL in the United States Marine Corps. He is passionate about photography and graphic design and began putting his talents to work early in the foundational stages of TAP
